Poor sweet mis-guided Junie B. Jones

Wow it's been along time since my last post. Sorry, but I've been busy. And there was a fire at the orphanage. And the the animal shelter needed some work.
Ok so here is my rant for today...

This weekend I was reading a book to my niece, "Junie B's Essential Survival Guide to School" In section two - Getting there, she says "The worst way I can think of to get to school is called WALKING!" then she says "Walking is not the only worst way to get to school, there is also riding your bike". She goes on to say that riding the bus is her favorite way although it can take a long time "but at least it's better than walking or riding your bike". I think this is very irresponsible of Barbara Park to write that.

This really annoyed me. I'm firing off a letter to the publisher. Maybe I'm just overly sensitive.

So the first question your probably asking is "why a blog about bicycles and ukuleles?"
Good question. Really this blog are about two things I enjoy and neither are very prominent where I live.
And as Mahatma Gandhi said - You must be the change you wish to see in the world.
